TRINITY MCC GAINESVILLE

WHAT TO EXPECT

What are Sundays like?

Worship at Trinity MCC is very relaxed.  We want you to experience worship in the way that is comfortable for you so if you enjoy standing, singing, clapping your hands etc...that's wonderful.  If you enjoy sitting and being mindful that's just fine too.  There is no 'right' or 'wrong' way to worship - we are all individual.

Typically we use a variety of music from secular to gospel, more old style to very modern.  We use Bible and other readings that match our theme for the week.  We also have a sermon (around 12-15 minutes), prayers and communion.  We know so many have been excluded from communion that at Trinity MCC it is open for all people at all times.

WHAT TYPE OF PEOPLE GO TO TRINITY?

Trinity MCC is thankful to have a wide variety of people attend. Our friends and members span from very religious to spiritual, young to young at heart, cis hetero to trans and everyone in between. Our rainbow is plentiful and vibrant.

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?

Your children are welcome to Trinity MCC.  We hope that our worship will engage all ages, however if your child needs a pack of puzzles, drawing, we have them available at the back of church, together with some diverse books.  If you need to breastfeed your child, please feel free to do so in the sanctuary, however if you would feel more comfortable, there is a chair inside the kitchen where you will not be disturbed but can still hear worship.  There is a baby changing station in our first bathroom.  Children are our future so please don't worry about them at Trinity MCC.

Where do I go?

If you are attending a typical worship you go into the building that looks like a Quonset Hut (red building with tin roof).  If services are being held  outside, there will be signs that will lead you to the amphitheater.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

We want you to feel as comfortable as possible so wear what you are comfortable in.  You will meet people who are in their Sunday best and yet others who are in shorts and t-shirts.

Where do I park?

You can park anywhere in the parking circle.  If you need to use disability parking, these spaces run alongside the building.
