WEDDING POLICY

Metropolitan Community Churches have been offering weddings/blessings for all people since 1968 and Trinity MCC in Gainesville is no exception. We do not have a standard service because we believe that your service should be built and written just for you. Our Pastor is committed to making your service special and in the most convenient location (travel fees may be charged when outside of Gainesville); so whether you want a relaxed service in your back yard, a more formal service in a building, or with your feet dipping in the sea, we want your day to reflect your choices.

If you decide to have your wedding/blessing at Trinity MCC, or performed by our pastor, you will need to call the office and make an appointment to meet with Rev Catherine to make arrangements. (352) 495-3378 or (352) 317-5143 - (Cell)

After your initial meeting with Rev Catherine, the wedding forms will be provided for you and your partner to fill out and return to the church office within 2 weeks, or 5 days before the ceremony should that be within 2 weeks of the meeting.

Use of the church Sanctuary for the Wedding Service.

Nonmembers: $300

Active members: $0

Officiant

Pastor to perform and organize service.

Nonmember: $250

Active member: Voluntary Honorarium
