At Trinity MCC, we believe children and youth are not just the future, they are a vibrant part of who we are right now. Every young person deserves a space where they can explore, create, and grow while being fully celebrated for who they are.
Children During Worship
We celebrate the joyful sounds and movement of children in our worship space. God put the wiggles in children, so we welcome them just as they are.
It is OK if your child gets a little restless; all are welcome here.
Feel free to sit near the front so children can see and participate.
Sing, dance, pray, and join in together.
We love seeing kids take part in worship.
For Parents and Caregivers
Infants
A baby changing station is available in the first bathroom. Breastfeeding is natural and welcome in our worship space. If you prefer privacy, a comfortable chair is available in the kitchen so you can still hear the service.
Thrive at Trinity MCC
A Creative, Inclusive Space for Kids and Teens Wherever They Are
Thrive is Trinity MCCs youth ministry designed to help kids and teens explore who they are, grow in confidence, and connect with a supportive community. We believe young people thrive when they are encouraged to be curious, creative, and fully themselves, and when they experience church as a place where they are welcomed, celebrated, and included.
What Thrive Offers
Each week, Thrive shares online content made especially for kids and youth. These posts are meant to spark creativity, support emotional well being, and create a sense of connection. We will be sharing things like:
- Creative activities to try at home
- Fun challenges and prompts
- Short, uplifting reflections
- Simple ways to participate and interact
- Seasonal themes and special features
This gives families an easy and welcoming way to get involved, whether they are brand new to church or looking for a community where their kids are fully embraced.
Our Values
We are an LGBTQIA plus affirming church, and Thrive reflects that. Everything is created to be open hearted, supportive, and welcoming for all families.
Growing Together
As Thrive continues to grow, we are building a community for kids and teens that is rooted in creativity, kindness, and connection. We plan to add in person gatherings and special events as things continue to build.

Safety
All Thrive volunteers are background checked and trained to provide a nurturing, affirming environment for every child.
Children in church
Coloring books and activity sheets are available at the entrance. If children need to stretch or play, the small hall beside the sanctuary is open for indoor playtime.
