 Our transition process was completed on April 11, 2010, when The Reverend Jim Merritt was elected Senior Pastor of Trinity Metropolitan Community Church. We are thankfrul for all the prayers and other forms of support we have received thoroughout this process.
The Reverend Jim Merritt has been identified as the church's candidate for Senior Pastor. A church BBQ and Question and Answer period will be held on Saturday afternoon, April 10. A special Congregational Meeting has been called for Sunday, April 11, for the purpose of electing a Senior Pastor. The meeting will be held right after that morning's Worship Serivce.
February 2010 - The Transition Team has completed its preliminary work and 35 members of the church (more than 50%) participated in Big Dream Day. A Specially Called Congregational Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, February 28, following the morning worship service. During that meeting the church will vote to approve its Mission Statement, Vision Statement and By-law Changes. 3 members will also be elected to join the Board of Directors as Pastoral Search Team for the purpose of presenting a candidate for Senior Pastor of Trinity MCC.
